Descend on Bend road trip! :) part 2

Part 2…some photos to share of our setup. We found many ways on how to optimize our camping experiences. One thing is for sure that this place is very dusty dirty. It got everywhere…next time we will bring a beach mat to help keep the dust down!

Anyways enjoy :)

We opted to leave our solar detached as we were running out of time to install before the trip. This unexpectedly allowed us to have much more opportunity to point the solar panel in the direction of the sun. Giving us more time to keep our auxiliary batteries charged. :)

These DIY window insulators proved much useful. They definitely helped keep the warmth in the van during the cold nights and added privacy. During the day they helped reflect the sun heat way from the van. Which helped keep our black Labrador, Cal extra cool.
