DIY window insulators...

They say Descend on Bend can be incredibly cold come sun down. Down to 20 degrees!

In the daytime it can be the high 80s or more. Dessert weather I guess.

Anyways that is pretty good motivation for some window insulators!

Didn’t have much time but it does the job…maybe I might make them better later.

They are black on one side and reflective on the other side. With magnetic tabs.

They work pretty well :)

My buddy helped me make templates using butcher paper and a pen while my van is still in the shop.

The black ripstop nylon is PU coated on the back…so using an iron to melt it onto the refletix.

Also you can put the reflective side out to reflect the sun when it is sunny and hot. Or swap them around with black side out to absorb the sun heat when it is very cold out. :)
